Here is an other part of this illustration, which I put in an other context … just for the sake of pointing out a personal habit or characteristic of this snail.

I have got one: he keeps his glasses into his shell.

Did you know that snail’s eyes are easily drying out. He needs three drops of rain water a day, for taking care of his contact lenses…

All the same, in the past, in situation of very hot weather, he had reluctantly agreed to put his glasses on his antenna.

The snail is clothes conscious.

Today, I felt like posting a little variation of colors because ,for some reason, I recently had troubles using colors.

I noticed that I over used the “color burn” mode with photoshop… I don’t know why.

I might also be connected with the fact that my new drawing corner is pretty dark, therefore my screen and I are not in tune any more.

Anyway, this blue bird is pleased because,he was given a lift. He usually have to battle against the wind in order to travel those distances while he is now, moving away, day dreaming on the roof of this rolling house:

The inhabitants are “Funny people who can not find a suitable place to settle, therefore they are changing places every summer”. It’s probably worth, for the bird, taking a season ticket! From now on, he will go wherever this house is going…

This mobile home does not really exist, although the occupants have to pay a visit to the various ministry of interior from the place they decide to stop off for a while.

They would have a lot to say about some “nasty” (euphemistic way of saying) procedures and people they had to face until now… but lets drop the subject, it would take everybody away from the world we’re trying to create in this site.

I started to draw a set of animals who stand on the floor as skittles do (difficult to see on this picture because I cut the bottom of it - oups!!!). Anyway, I have a good feeling about their astounded faces: as soon as I have more time and mental space (baby girl on the way ) I will give them a clearer shapes and characters… until then bye bye hippopotamus, lions, chicks and parrots …

This is a sketch that I will propose to the project which consist of displaying dinosaurs in the street of Haïfa (like the Lions who inhabited Lyon (France)’s street a few years ago).

From the top of their pomegranates, the birds taunt the green cats and chicks who stretch themselves out in order to pick one single of these fruits.

(I do not manage to display the pictures in bigger size by playing with the pixels and the resolution. I am going now to look for some help…
